Jonathan Kornreich for Brookhaven Council

 Get to know Jonathan

Jonathan has always believed our town is more than just lines on a map. It’s our home. With deep roots in our community, he has dedicated his life to serving others. From the local school board and civic groups, to community-based task forces and charitable organizations, his willingness to put others first is second to none.

As Brookhaven Town Council member representing District 1, Jonathan has a plan to tackle the challenges of today and a vision for what’s possible tomorrow. But most importantly, he has the skills and experience to make that a reality.

Guided by a strong sense of the critical importance of education, philanthropy and community service, Jonathan has served on the Three Village Board of Education since 2008 where he served as Vice President, and is the current President of the Three Village Civic Association. He is also a past President of the North Shore Montessori School in Stony Brook and a past Vice President of the Suffolk County Boys and Girls Club. Jonathan lives with his wife and two daughters in Stony Brook.
